The camera is mandatory in 2017.
These sensors at this time are not.
This may be just a way to add another dealer installed option.

Well a backup camera could be a dealer thing as well.
Remember, I installed a factory quality back-up camera.
Dealers now get around $95.00-$120.00 per hour labor.
Sense the car is not prewired this could be a $1500.00-$2000.00 option.

Completely understood I would hope the "software" upgrade it it is offered by Ford would not be $500 + the camera. Wishful thinking but that is my hope.

Price seems fair to me. Just hope the tool is not a stupid thing.

The install tool kit is part number:

VAS4Z-15A866-C

I don't have an exact price as of yet but it is around $50.00.

The only other issue is that the sensors come unpainted.

I think my wife wants me to put a set in her Honda first.

I am just wondering how the color might come out using those touch up paint sets from Ford.

The price is not terrible if the quality is good. If you are getting them for any vehicle let me know, else I may get them in the fall.

There many other sets on the market for less money.
Ford chose this set so I hope it is better than most.

This is cool. I loved having them on the focus. May do this in the future. Oxford white will be an easy match with those touch up cans too.

They are out of stock.

All US rear bumpers are the same except the Titanium.
It has the parking sensors.
So I'M sure it is a Titanium bumper and yes, it will fit an ST.

The only factor here is the cost of paint.
I am hoping to use touch up for about $13.00.
