2016 Fiesta ST No A/C and Engine temp creeps at times

So I tried looking and going through a few posts but didn't get the answers I wanted. So I did get a letter from Ford but it did not mention anything about a Check engine light. So I have been having issues with No ac at stop and go traffic and the engine temp will creep up 1 bar. How ever I have a code now that never came before For my cooling fans. The no A/c issue has been happening for a few weeks so I know I most likely need that relay and I have an apt next Thursday. But the Cel for cooling fans is new. Any input?

Sounds like what mine was doing. See the recall/service bulletin in the attached thread and see if that includes your car.

I did get the letter from ford. It just didn't say anything about the Check Engine Light so that part got me nervous. But it does make since if the fans don't turn on there would be a code in relation to the fan circuit

If you have not had the recall done then you need to do it.

Uhh, you might want to get that recall done asap. My understanding is that it can lead to lots of broken parts if not done.

No kidding. This guy has likely caused considerable damage already by ignoring the recall.

Also, for op, don't run the AC before you get your recall done. At least try to limit any further damage to the system.

What the hell is up with the 2016's, this is really disheartening seeing this from Ford, you would think that with 2 model years under the belt, the 2016's would be refined and all the bugs will be ironed out!

There's one recall for a relay. My 16 runs fine thus far. What other problems are we having lol? And don't say the intake, because they clearly intentionally redesigned it to address something with the previous model year cars. So, that whole refining bugs thing, lol.

That's fair, there has really been 1 problem, but a very serious problem with the 16's cooling abilities, oh plus the leaking struts lol. Idk to me it just seems counter intuitive that 3 years into production there are seemingly more glaring issues.

Too many little changes are causing the 16s issues. Like the difference relay for the high speed cooling fan. Either slightly different struts/shocks or a bad batch
