I know this video will be lost on some of you, but I figured I'd post it anyway. Unfortunately, the video isn't on the YouTube yet, but it's a public Facebook link. So, if you want hit the link and watch me reel in a tuned Z28 at the Battle Creek Speedfest Half Mile event.

Link to video.

Nice (almost!) kill. That's a serious build.
I did get him once. Also got a procharged Charger, and a C7Z06 (couldn't drive). Most of my "wins" were on trap speed, but you know the real winner is who gets to the line first, so meh. I'm still happy with the way the car performed. Some loved it, most refused to acknowledge it.

One of the announcers said something along the lines that it was a Grandma car and you could buy these parts off-the-shelf at Autozone.

I've owned domestic V-8 muscle cars and I would DEFINITELY have acknowledged your car and build, and even given you KUDOS and many props for it (as well as asking a trillion questions about it!)!! [thumb]

The foreign nameplate cars are the ones I have a problem with accepting, even though yes, I WILL acknowledge that some are 'faster than stink'. ;)

That IS impressive, closing on a big power, tuned LS7 car like that!! [driving]

It's funny that WE all know that these can be NASTY little rides, but not everyone else does. LOL

According to the owner the Z28 is NOT tuned. I was (apparently) mistaken so, I guess it's just a factory freak.

STILL quite impressive, even taking into account that the 5th gen Z28 weighs at least 1K lbs. more than the FiST.

Yeah, he should be putting down about 450whp stock, and I wasn't too far off from that...so, who knows really? Still a 1.6L running down a V8.
