I hear the same thing when in reverse. I'm guessing it's something with the electric power steering assist system.

Same here. Noticed it a bit more with the new wheels and tires. Could be the different level of stickiness of the tires or slight change in offset that made it more pronounced. Or just more miles on the car. I'm going to add it to my issues for my first visit to the dealer. But I'm sure they'll say they can't reproduce it or it is normal.

The more I listen to it, it feels and sounds like the brakes are dragging on the rotor...and if I go really slow in 1st, like from a dead stop and let the clutch out a little just to start the car rolling, it sounds and feels like the brakes are in contact with the rotors...it's going in Tuesday for service

It is common to mine as well. I thought it might be a dragging caliper, but you get the noise even with the brakes applied and I have felt it through the wheel even for a second after being stopped. You can even feel it going forward at low speeds. Not constantly, but at times.

From what I have read, it is a characteristic of the EPAS.

I had a similar issue, I noticed some rub when backing up and turning at the same time... Came home and checked the lug nuts they had about 70 lbs of torque, I torqued them to 100 lbs and it stopped. Give it a try.

Cheers!

I get the same noise as well. I get it when I am full lock turning into the garage and full lock in reverse. Seems worse in reverse though.
