Economy tune question for Cobb experts

So I've seen that there's an available "economy tune" for the AP, with boost limited to the 5psi range (wastegate pressure?). Does this tune alter any other parameters that affect mpgs? For example, does it use any more timing advance to help with efficiency? Would be awesome if it did more than just cut boost, because I drove 100+ miles to work today and never got over 2psi, hehe...

I tried out the Economy Tune for a few weeks and I really didn't like how it made the car feel.
It would get to a certain speed on the freeway, and just feel powerless like it couldn't go any faster.
I was getting 28mpg (on 87 octane) with the Economy Tune, I uninstalled the Cobb AP completely and I'm getting 30mpg with 87 octane.

I'm happier with the Cobb uninstalled than I was with the Econo Tune....just FWIW, your mileage (literally) may vary

Cool. Thanks for the info. I'm getting 34mpg+ bone stock, so I won't mess with it.

I use the Economy Tune during the week, about 100 miles per day, keep it at about 2500 RPMs about 95% of the time, boost tops out at about 5 PSI. My MPGs went from about 33 to 37, the car does feel sluggish compared to the 91 octane tune, or even stock but that's expected with the tune, I would imagine. It does what I expected it would do so I'm not worried, it still has enough power to pass other cars while on the freeway when needed.

During the weekends I use the 91 octane tune and it just turns the car into a completely different vehicle, so much fun! Other than the Cobb AP my car is bone stock as well.

Wow that's terrible. I seem to get the same mpg stock on 91octane as I do on the Cobb v102 91 octane tune. 33-35mpg
