Hi all,

Thought I'd introduce myself. Name is Con. Live in Oz. Originally from Canada though!

Picked up a PB Fiesta ST about a month ago. Love it. Come from a long line of fast, modded up cars, but decided to take a few steps back and enjoy the simpler things of a hot hatch.

Done a few things so far. The only thing remaining to do is a tune, but waiting for more to come out until I decide which to go with. Mountune isn't covered by warranty down here.

Mods:
-Mountune short shift kit
-TWM M1 Abrams knob
-H&R springs (40mm drop)
-Custom catback, non-res exhaust from HiTech Mufflers here in Sydney. Absolutely love it. Crackly, a bit of rasp, but not....overly loud.

Cheers!

Sweet ride!

How do you like the short shifter v.s. the OEM one? is it really worth the investment?

If you ever come back to visit Canada, maybe you could bring a set of headlight with you? I'd buy one :)

3. Did you paint the wheels or they came like that?
4. What made you decide to move to OZ? Was it difficult to do and was it worth it.?

my wife and i have talked about doing a move like that for some time now. either to Australia or New Zealand.

That looks great! Welcome to the community. Do you have video clips of how the exhaust sounds?

Thanks guys. I forgot to add I've added a K&N filter in too.

2. Woot, More Canada in the house. - I notice you're from Petawawa. I'm from Ottawa originally! Born and raised. Moved out to Vancouver after university, then moved down here six years ago.
3. Did you paint the wheels or they came like that? - I had them painted gloss black.
4. What made you decide to move to OZ? Was it difficult to do and was it worth it.? - Work mainly. Getting away from the ex was a factor though too haha. I'm in IT. Lots of challenging opportunities down here. It wasn't too hard. I was on a 457 visa to start. Got my residency, and six months ago got my citizenship as well.

As for clips of the exhaust, I'm working on that. I don't seem to have any friends with a GoPro haha. I tried a cheap KMart version. It fell off as I was driving!

I swear by it. Best mod one could ever do if you enjoy short, tight shifts. Well worth it.

I'll tell you what. I'll swap you you're black headlight housing for my LEDs. I so wish we had the black housing here!
