I'm considering the ST-XTAs coilovers on my DD/occasional track car for the adjustable rebound and being able to be set at the near-stock ride height. Things I've read about the STs have been promising. But I'm concerned about the adjustable uniball top mounts. I've read that on some other coilover sets, the all-metal camber-plates can be clunky depending on temp changes as well as make for a somewhat harsher ride since there's no rubber or plastic to isolate harsher bumps.
Anyone have experience w/ adjustable camber plates in general, or the ST-XTAs in particular?
Could the XTAs use the stock, plastic top mounts? or the non-adjustable XA top mounts?
Thanks for any info you can share.
