Hi, I just bought my '14 Molten Orange FiST last Saturday from a Ford dealer in Durham, and have had nothing but fun ever since. I sold my 2013 Mustang V6 with performance package and Recaros, and haven't looked back. I think I've had more fun with it in 3 or 4 days than I had with the Mustang in the 1 year I owned it. My Mustang was GHI Green, and I would have liked to get Green Envy, but there were none near NC that were reasonably priced. The orange looks great, although I wish it were a little lighter in shade. Regardless, I enjoy the hell out of it and look forward to driving every day again. Now for some window tint and some darker wheels...

Great to see lots of former Mustangs and Focus owners moving towards the FiST.

Thanks!

Everything about this car is great. The shifter feels almost as good as the MX5. The beltline is low, so you can see what's going on around you (plus you can drive with one elbow on the doorsill, can't do that in the Mustang). All the tech stuff inside is great. Fuel mileage is incredible (I was getting 23 around town in the Mustang, getting 32 around town in the FiST and 36/37 Hwy). Most importantly, lightweight and fun to drive. I love both Miatas I had, and this is equally as fun, and I'm shocked it only weighs about 250 lbs more. The FiST has more torque and better acceleration than the Miata though. And dat sound! I looked at getting a third Miata, but since we're trying for a baby this is the far more practical option. Can't wait to go on some mountain roads in the coming weeks!

Only thing I miss from the Miata is the convertible top, and only thing I miss about the stang is sitting around looking at it. The FiST is so much more fun to drive it's not even comparable.

Sounds fun, might have to head up that way. We're taking some back mountain roads this weekend! Haven't done that since I sold the Miata.
