White circle on screen around arrow icon

Good morning Friends. So Tuesday night I drove the car home. Went out in it last night, and I started to notice the white circle around the center of the nav icon arrow. I am sure it was not there the first night I was in the car, but last night I noticed it. I can not find any settings that I had messed with to activate it. Now the question is, HOW do you get rid of the annoying circle?
Anyone? anyone?

I'm hoping to hear good news!
Thanks in advance.

I guess Google is my friend. Seems to be a lot of differing theories on it. But, all seem to agree that there's no way to get rid of it. Some say it represents you could be anywhere in the circle, as far as gps tracking/accuracy goes. Others say it's there so you can quickly find where you are on the screen (find your arrow).

Yes, I did some google searching myself. Hey btw, thanks for the reply. and I found several areas that mention it's there with no options to remove. The thing I was thinking is, I know it wasn't there the first day I drove the car but now it's there.

The other thing is, I can't believe in any of the active forums, I didn't see more about the circle when I was searching. So, Members, Circle up please!

If there's anyone one place that can fix the issue, it's going to be here. I can't buy that it's just something we are going to have to live with.

it's not an "issue". it's just something that was designed into the nav system. Ford probably thought it was a useful feature. Or maybe your GPS receiver is on the fritz.

I get something similar on Google Maps, then the circle shrinks down as it narrows down my location, then it just goes away.
Either way, it's just a flashing circle and I have bigger fish to fry in life.
Good Luck to you.

I agree,, bigger fish. I just found it interesting that one day it was not there, and now it is. Love to have an option to remove it but I'm getting use to seeing it.
