So i follow ian from Cobb on instagram and he posted a "sneek peek" video of him using his AP to flip through up to 5 maps on the fly. Cool.

This will be nice to have....now if we can get an update that allows the Accessport to shut off with the ignition without having to unplug it.

I would like it to automatically switch the esc/traction controls off on start up. But that's another topic for another thread.

Clip the power wire, or ground if needed, to the OBD2 port and feed it from the Ign wire instead of constant as it must be now, then it will shut off whenever the Ign is off, you can do this in several ways depending on exactly how you want it to work

You can also use a single throw, double pole, mini toggle switch placed where you prefer it and have it work either via the Ign, etc, or constant.

ive been waiting for this maps on the fly feature for months! Not complaining, but it will be a great feature for me. Last time i went to Vegas there was a long stretch of about 45 miles that was flat and easy so i put it into high MPG mode on the cruise, sadly on the end of that rode is a decent up towards the damn. I tried to make it but on 5psi i was damn near in peoples way trying to get up.

With this i can always keep it in high MPG mode then drop it into stage 1 91 when i need it!

I would but if Cobb can program the Accessport to do it, it would keep me from hacking up a $75 cable.

Doesn't powering off the AP just require pressing the top button, then pressing the round enter button?
That's what I do to turn it off. Easier that wiring in anything and installing a toggle switch.

Or am I on the way to screwing something up?
