Is there any benefit to this cover? It can definitely look great if it matches your engine cover, but I'm not sure if it has any benefits aside from improved aesthetics

The first cover is fitted to my vehicle. It is made from abs plastic. Painted it red initially, didn't like it and then covered it with fake carbon fibre film.
