I always run AC should I still install rear motor mount?

I'm worried because I always use my AC and I hear that the RMM makes the car vibrate at idle when ac is on. I know it's an awesome upgrade but worried about that. When people say more vibration is it very noticeable? Thanks

Sensitivity to the additional vibration is pretty subjective. I say its only noticeable with the AC on and you're are standing still (ie. stop in go traffic on the highway in the summer). I don't think anyone has quantitative data on the change in NVH.

Its not noticeable
It is noticeable, but not bad. If I run the ac a lot, then turn it off, lol, I think that the car has stalled at the next red light. It vibrates significantly more at idle with the ac on. You do get used to it. Now, it is not noticeable while cruising.

I always run AC and run a COBB RMM the increase in vibration is minimal

If you get a tune, you can also have the tuner bump the engine idle speed up just a bit and it will smooth out.

Also, on the more extreme side of things, when I ported my exhaust manifold and turbine housing, the engine smoothed out a bunch everywhere in the RPM band. It was much happier driving with the AC on. And that was JUST the manifold and turbine housing porting, not the upgraded turbo.

I always run my AC and couldn't tell the vibration... and if it is there it doesn't bother me.

It seems that it comes down to personal preference.
Someone might be more sensitive to vibration and have an issue with it, that is not the case here.

Cheers!

I run the AC year round here in Texas. I don't even notice the COBB RMM anymore. It's probably 75% because the mount has broken in a little bit and 25% I got used to it. I'm biasing that much because my girlfriend doesn't complain when she rides in my car, ha!

I just installed my mount yesterday and I run the AC a LOT. In PR the heat never gets any better than low 80's during the day even during winter. Right now we are still getting 90's. I can definitely feel the added vibration at idle with the AC turned on, especially right after a cold start. I mean, you can tell it's there, whether it bothers you or not, it's up to you. At least my keys don't rattle and roll in the cup holders like they did on my Civic Si witch had a full Innovative 70A motor mount set.

I have the Cobb REM (motors are electric:) a well ported manifold and turbo as well as updgraded compressor wheel, clipped turbin and a DIY transmission mount and have not noticed any vibration at all.
