Occasional Wheel shake at 70-80

Recently installed the Cobb RMM and never really drove it at any speed. Have a couple hundred miles on it but top speed was probably 65/70. I then got Michelin pilot sports as3 installed by a tire guy that has done all my tires. He said most of the wheels didn't even need weights as they balanced out perfectly compared to the stock tires that had strips of weight. (possibly were high speed balanced from factory? Not sure if that's makes a huge difference)

First time I got to about 75-80 a very noticeable wheel shake started. But the car tracked perfectly straight. I slowed down a bit and it was smooth. Happened again for a short while at the above speed then stopped. I thought it was just the road and the higher psi I was running.

Since then it's been occasional. Yesterday I got to that speed and it came back, different road. So last night I played around with all speeds on the same section of road. And I couldn't reproduce it.

Other than the obvious of poorly balanced wheels, but I get no shake at any other speed and its occasional.

Other forums for other vehicles suggested an issue with the RMM.

Thoughts?

But why only occasionally? I'll attempt to reproduce again today if the road allows. I'll be checking the RMM bolts and lugs before I head out. But it has me perplexed.

Same Problem with one of my Pilot Sports 3! The rims are Team dynamics pro race 1.2 right off the box! One tire has a radial runout. I changed the tire from the front to the back of the car. The shake of the steering wheel is now away. But it "rattles" on the rear know. The tires will be changed now by the tire Company.

Regards from Germany

I have the cobb rmm and michelin P/S AS 3s on OZ superturismo LMs and I have not encountered the wheel shake. my wheels were balanced by tire rack.

First, my Shop made much problems! They said that the new (!) rims were damaged. A second garage checked the tire then and found the radial runout.
I'm working at a Michelin tire factory, and I'm driving since 14 years with this brand. Never problems with that! This is the first tire with problems...
