The thing about fwd cars specifically I've learned is that... If there are a total of 40 things/bolts to get to, you get 10 from the top, then 5 from the bottom, then 10 from the top, then 10 from the bottom, then 5 from the top IN THAT ORDER. So if you don't have a lift that can raise/lower a car easily and quickly, your best to find a happy medium of lift height, then use your space tire as a "step" lol. I actually mention using the spare as a "step" in my "how to remove your turbo" write up. With the cowl and heat shields off though, its a breeze. I almost did my entire turbo swap from the top a couple weeks ago, minus the oil return fitting and actually dropping the turbo out.
Cool idea though...
