Because once you tune for it, E30 in my case, it sucks to go back to regular old 93 (E10). Even if only temporarily. I haven't had time over the last week to get over to my local E85 station and I'm running my 93 (E10) tune at this moment. Huge difference. That is all. Thanks Sourskittle:)

I also found this the other day and only 4 miles from home! For e85 I need to travel 15miles....

Its a bit of a splurge @ $9/gal but fairly affordable if I do a 50% tank mix and then add that tune to slot #5 just for the hell of it...

question though. Do you fill up on 93 then just add 30% relative to the fuel you already have?

I have an ethenol content guage so, it helps. I usually get my tank down to about two gallons estimated, then add the E85 first, then fill with the 93. This is when I already have E30 in the tank. I use a calculator to determine how much to add.

Looking forward to getting my ethanol sensor / guage installed soon....

But in the mean time I've found its been fairly straight forward to keep track of content as long as your "consistent" with the mix ratio...If I wish to change the percentage I'm running I just run the current tank close to empty and then use the appropriate percentage mix and with each fill up I make sure I keep that percentage added constant....

Have you already gotten your parts for the ECA setup? If not, razorlab has his up for sell for fairly cheap on the other forums.

No....I haven't purchased parts or kit yet....

And I saw that and thought he sold it already... I think I would also still need to purchase the ethanol content analyzer ECA-2 with E% gauge?

I'm sorry.... And your welcome, lol. I did 327 or 328tq on the VD and a stock turbo the other day on E40. Lol. Just nuts out of a 1.6L

Even if i had to mail order E85 per 5 gal can, it would be worth it.

I actually have 5 gal next to my front door. I'm running 93oct for another week or so.

Lol, it is a big difference. I've gotten used to the E30 over the last month. When I filled up with 93 the other day and flashed to the 93 tune, I was like wow. It feels like taking away a 50 shot of nitrous, lol. I bet that E40 is fun. How do the logs look?

Yeah, you would still need the gauge.
