OBD2 gauges

Forgive me if this has been discussed, but...

I know everyone loves their Cobb and uses it for all their gauges, but does anyone use an OBD2 thingy? Either BT with something like the BAFX or Kiwi to a phone/tablet with Torque or Dash Command app or a hardware piece like ScanGauge or UltraGauge?

I'm interested in doing this with either my old iPhone or getting one of the hardware pieces, but I'm confused like a mofo. Lol. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I use the BT1 with My Iphones and it works great and can log stuff for playback later . it can be used over many vehicles is why I have it and my COBB for datalogging.. Dash Comander is not to bad either. And you can use them with Harrys lap timer to get real time data in the vids cool stuff :) enjoy

An iOS device will work nearly the same as an Andtoid device, with the exception of the OBD2 port adapter has to be WiFi not Bluetooth.

I use the BAFX Bluetooth adapter and connect with Torque Pro from a cheap boost mobile android phone I bought on eBay. I'm only into the whole setup for $45, and it has worked great for the ~2 months I've been using it.

What do you use for the PIDS? I've tried Torque Pro on my tablet and can't seem to get the boost gauge to work.

i can't recall if boost is in there alone, but the one you need is the vacuum/boost. Is it not working at all? There is an adjustment for atmospheric pressure in the settings, but I'm pretty sure that the car figures that in the reading. If you can give us more details it will be easier to help.

There is a boost gauge but does not work for me. I did scroll down to the bottom and found the vacuum/boost one and that seems to work for me.

That's good. There's definitely little stupid things you have to figure out with the app, but other than that it's been working great for me.

I tried using a BT OBD2 plug with an app before getting my AP, and it worked ok. Didn't keep up with boost levels very well.
