Lets assume you've upgraded to a full stage 3.
Intake, downpipe (catted), exhaust, FMIC, etc.
You have been running a Stage 3 map, and now its time to head over to the dealer to get serviced....
You "uninstall" the Stage 3 map, and return the ECU to the factory map.
What happens? How does it run? Does the ECU throw an error?
I think I read somewhere on the forum that if you've replaced the downpipe, the ECU won't know to handle the extra flow out of the turbo, and will complain.
If you have only gone as far as Stage 2 (stock downpipes and exhaust), what happens when you go back to the stock ECU Map?
I'm curious how much I'd have to "uninstall" (everything?) to be able to run the stock ECU and stock Map without the ECU throwing an error.
If I want to service the car, or sell the car at some point (gasp), I'd like to know how many of the original parts I'd need to save and reinstall.
Thanks!
