Nice find!! That opens up a lot of possibilities for everyone!

I believe that these are the same items as sold by Speeddawg.
This could very well be true as Speeddawg has hundreds of distributors.

My point is that the adaptor is not cupped deep enough for a round ball.
That is to say that there is almost a 1/8 inch gap when/where the ball and adaptor come together.
You can just barely see this gap in the photos above but I have seen it up close.

This by no means will prevent the use of these products.
It is just in my opinion it looks incorrect or unfinished.

This Reverse Adapter "cup" looks to have sufficient enough depth to seat the bottom of shift knob properly and appears well seated as far as I can tell...Although I suppose there could be a chance where a space might appear if a smaller diameter shift knob were to be installed along with this adapter...However, I'm not seeing an 1/8" gap in the close-up pic (below) when installed with these slightly larger 2 1/8" dia. shift knobs...

Yup...looks similar and probably is the same adapter...However, I think if you use this adpater with the larger 2 1/8" shift knobs it should work out very well...TBD I suppose...

Oh? Do you already have one of these adapters Dave??

I also took a closer look at the green knob image (below) and looks to me like they simply didn't screw the knob all the way down....

On a side note...wonder how well this adapter would work along with a standard shifter extension?

Trust me,
It looks that way when it is tight.

It should work perfectly with a shifter extension.
I will measure it as well tonight to be sure.

As promised here are the up close photos of the adaptor along with a Speeddawg ball.
They are tight together on a Fiesta shaft.

The size is 1.300 inch inside diameter and 1.425 outside diameter.

Do they have to use that aluminum piece? What is the adapter for? You can't just unscrew the factory knob (which I quite like, btw) and screw on something else?

The adaptor is just a place for the reverse lock out to go.
I guess you could do without it if you like.

Are you making your own? If so you could bore out the bottom the size of the lock out and use thread lock to keep the knob from spinning. I do have the same idea as Dave does the adapter for the lock out is $17 from CJ pony parts or you could also use the Dead Hook Motors shifter extension (found on this forum)

Well the Dead Hook Motors shifter extension would make it look weird because its going to be a Samurai sword hilt. If I start making a hole in the guard of the hilt, the guard won't fit on the handle anymore. My final result should look a bit like this:
