Factory Speaker Out Wires

I'm going to tap into the factory speaker wires near the HU (FR FL RR RL), and run that speaker level out into the hatch area.
I'll use the high level inputs for my DSP, and then on to the Amps, and the along new speaker wires to the speakers.

I will be running an active setup in the front, so I don't want to use the factory speaker wires.
I also want to keep the factory wiring in place (disconnected at the head unit) so I can remove all my gear at some point, and just return the car to stock audio setup.

Question:

What size wire should I run from the HU to the Hatchback for the speaker level out signal?
I'd like to run twisted pairs, but I am not sure what awg the stock wires are...

If possible (and advisable), I'd like to run a single cable (8 conductor - 4 twisted pairs -FR FL RR RL) all the way back.
Since the are speaker level out, I think there should be no "noise", but I want to make sure I have the right gauge (AWG) , and if I need to run individually shielded lines or not.
