Ok North Esaterners, what are you using for winter tires?

I am getting my new FiSt in a few weeks, but am planning on running snows on the stock wheels next winter. Who is using what now?

I believe only Bridgestone has winters in stock size, I plan on getting 185/60R15 (same size as the spare) when my car comes in. I currently use a slightly thicker 185/65R15 for my current car.

I run winterforce. They are only $70 a piece on steel wheels the same size as the spare. We haven't had any snow to test them in on this car, but I have run them on everything in the past and they work great. very soft compound to they don't last long, but that is what gets more grip in winter.

I am on Winterforce as well (205/50 r16). I purchased these for the FIST as I've used them in the past and am very happy with their cold weather performance. They are much more 'knobby' than Blizzacks for the deep snow and half the price.

I'm running 185 60 r15 Champiro Icepros. They're definitely an off brand tire but I think i got them off ebay for something like $225 shipped for all four. They're pretty noisy but other than that i've got no complaints, they are great in the snow.

I have those mounted to 15" focus wheels that I picked up from the scrappers then painted white.

All in I think I've got $335 invested in my winter setup haha [coolsmile]

Some cheap shit I got off a guy on craigslist look knobby like quad tires but for snow, took the studs out, on 2001 focus rims without centercaps. Looks like shit but amazingly comfortable.
