First new car, 2015 Fiesta ST in Performance Blue. Bought it from South Bay Ford for a great price with the 0% financing, great deal. Happy that my AAA insurance is very low as well for it.

Coming from an e46 325Ci and e36 323iS before it, although I did have a fox body LX 5.0 some years ago, so not new to Ford.

Probably going to keep it stock for some time, it seems to be such a good all around driver I would hate to spoil anything. With that said, some of these re flashes that promise more power AND better efficiency are of interest to me.

I will probably be a bit of a lurker, but look forward to learning new things and tracking the progress of other more adventurous individuals, hehe

Cheers!

Chris

Welcome.

The Cobb AP is wonderful but it is also a slippery slope. Once you start the modifying, you can't stop.

Thanks all, already getting great info on the car; break-in, oil type and interval theory, air filter theory, etc... As my first turbo car I'm looking to take all the precautions, as I'm looking for 10+ years out of it while extracting some joy on a daily basis, hehe.

Also just found out about the ST Octane Academy, with a cheap airline ticket and motel I'm thinking this could be a great way to spend a day. Digging around now for member accounts of their experiences.

Welcome. Another SoCal FiST owner! I went to Octane Academy. It was awesome. I got to drive their FiST around a track at redline for 15 minutes straight! Probably the best 15 minutes of my life. Do it.

Once that mod bug hits, you cant stop it!

Welcome aboard!

it might even be cheaper to drive out there than to fly honestly. We do get some pretty good MPG :)
everyone i know in LA drove out there.

I have to set a date for me to head out there..

Welcome! Where in LA are you located?
Mid City LA.

I thought about driving over, but a 9.5 x2 hours is time out of my life, and crossing the Mojave desert isn't my favorite thing to do. Plus, Vegas traffic...

So far my mileage hasn't reached 35 on the freeway, granted I'm cruising at 80 and break-in isn't complete yet, heh.
