I don't like it. As much as I love technology and am all for the advancement of said tech, One thing I will never tolerate is when the machine begins to disobey what /I/ want. The instant a machine goes against MY wishes, it's over for the machine unless it gets its ass in fucking gear and does what /I/ want it to do.

For instance the moment that my car were to throttle down due to that speed limit thing I would promptly pull over and rip that fucking camera out of wherever the hell it's situated and I would burn it and send it back to the tech who invented it. The machine is a tool that I have command over. NEVER the other way around.

I guess I'm sure glad I got my FiST when I did.

"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."

So when someone gets killed because the programmer forgot about a particular scenario they better get ready for the litigation. This could all blow up in their face and i hope it does. Thinking will be outlawed soon. How about people who want to use Facebook and text while they're driving take the bus and let the rest of us drive.

I can get behind that notion.

I just want the option to hit the "drive me there" setting.
Two reasons.
#1 sometimes i don't feel like driving or I'd rather be napping.
#2 if a car I can afford to have a "drive me there" button exist, then EVERYONE has a car with a "just drive me there" switch. Which means..... Just like the automatic transmission, EVERYONE ELSE WILL BE HITTING THE BUTTON 99% OF THE TIME. Which means... I can drive my car in my own way, at my own choosen speed, while everyone else actually goes 65mph on the interstate. Lol.

I love driving. But when traffic is heavy with chevy trailblazers, 4 banger rangers, camerys, and caravans, I just wish I could hit the "just drive me there".

Issue is.... As soon as everyone gets the "just drive me there button", they will remove the "disable/enable" switch, and it will just be on all the time, and well have to goto "car driving simulators" to actually drive ( sorta ).

We don't need nice cars for 'drive for me there' More like little cubicles. No crash protection needed if big brother is driving us.
The Jetsons style would be better though. Hang on aren't we meant to have Jetsons tech by now?
