Looking at the instructions, this is a full kit! That may be the saving factor here.

I love Turbosmart's products and their customer service is top notch. I don't see much benefit using these on the stock turbo though.

For those on the stock turbo that pull the stock BPV and replace it with a vacuum source BOV, can you report back if you see the turbo being a little more spool happy at lighter throttle?

I've had an adjustable aftermarket wastegate for the fist for like 6-7months for $100 with the cyborg. I've used it on a stock turbo and as long as your tuning the car, you can use it. But.... I've never offered it to anyone because you can add boost with the stock wastegate via race tuner or a pro-tune, so a mechanical wastegate upgrade is not needed. Its only needed on the cyborg because with increase air entering the motor, it also increases exhaust. The increased exhaust pressures push the stock wg open. Without the increase in air though... You have no reason to need a tighter WG spring.

Don't get me wrong... That is a nice piece. I'd personally like to have it. But #1 you don't need it. #2 if you did need it, I could sell you one for 1/2 the cost ( borg-warner OEM actually ).

The only reason I could MAYBE see that someone with a stock turbo needs an upgraded WG would be if they were running nitrous, and we all know that no one on this forum has that kinda balls, lol.

Jpgc. You buy it, I'll install it !! And test it for you, lol
LOL,
Could run a small sneaky pete system or go all out with a multiport system....idk, 25, 50, 75 shot...what you think..install is easy. I imagine I could take my ATR software and run a 91 Cobb tune, make a few adjustments. Probably could pull off a 25 shot fairly easy. A 50 shot+ would definitely need testing. Only problem is, Nitrous can get expensive if done properly and safely. It would almost be better to go with a hybrid or aftermarket turbo setup considering the prices on those.

I put 11 bottles of 75 shot through my 160k mile civic before i gave it 15psi ( because fitting the bottle was taking a lot of time and way way too much money over just a couple of months ).

My srt4 did 13 bottles of 100shot before I caused a failure due to lack of octane.

So I've spend around $750 plus a lot of time on nitrous, lol. Its addicting to use until your broke, lol.

Razor lab pretty much outline the way to steal fuel from the stock feed line.

Or a better option....

Two bottles. Nitrous and...... Shhhhh, PROPANE. Steals no fuel and its 112+ octane.

Also.... 55shot or less, doesn't count, lol.

I think that this car would easily deal with a 25-40shot dry as long as your on E10 and you have enough octane and/or correct timing settings.

A 50 shot on this car = 75-100 shot on a Mustang, Camero, Challenger, etc, lol. That would feel decent.

SS car is about the equivalent of an old race horse. She just needs to chill out in her stable lol.

Installation doesn't seem bad, plus the sound is awesome compared to the semi-truck air compressor sound of the Boomba one.
