Hey guys, just recently got my 2015 Fiesta ST. First manual car, so learning curve hasn't been so pleasant, but finally got it down pretty smooth. Next step is rev matching. Loving the car though.

Here's my car. Wheels are Niche NR10s.

I do have an issue though. The dipstick that came with my car looks like the one for the base Fiesta.

According to the manual, that's for the regular Fiesta engine.....

As far as I now, it should come with this one:

Obviously, this is kinda a big deal.... My 2015 owner's manual shows that I should have the dipstick in the 2nd picture. (with the arrows) So did they change something and not update the book....or did I fall victim to QC? I'm not even at 110 miles yet, but I plan on doing the first oil change at 1k. It's definitely going to matter then...

I figure I'd check here before I whine to the dealer....

Welcome!

On my ST I have the dipstick in the second picture. If it were me I would go to the dealer and have them switch it out. Just to have all the correct parts on the car and everything.

Welcome, and congrats, Tesco2015!

I'll be happy to send this up the line. Just send me a PM with your VIN, mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location.

Thanks for the warm welcome :D Loving the car so far, today was the day I could finally roll down my windows (they were tinted a few days ago). I just realized you can hear the turbo spool with the windows down. [driving] Last thing I needed is another reason to get on the gas [biggrin]. Smiles per gallon right?

So according to the service manager at Earnhardt, there was a part number change in late August and they are using that dipstick now. I know a lot of people complained about the design of the old one (hard to read). I guess Ford heard with everyone's complaints and went with this design. I'll check my oil tomorrow and see if it's any easier to read.

Glad to hear everything's correct with your ST! Smiles per gallon, for sure. :D
