New GTA FiST owner

Just a shout out here, never yet seen a FiST on the road in the Toronto area but I'm now a very happy owner myself! I have 2015 in the under appreciated Ingot Silver colour fully loaded (us Canadians get the Recaro's no matter what, I wanted orange but settled with the grey, Nav, roof I didn't want, wheels. That said the sunroof doesn't seem to suck in this car so eh, its all good.)

Must be some of GTA people out there of course!

Had it for less then a week, but its a fun little hot hatch and I'm a very happy so far. Almost as much fun (maybe more?) as my Omni GLH Turbo I had back in the day. Similar drive only without the insane torque steer and turbo lag (although that was part of the fun). With way better seats. And way better everything else too. And since its so new I've not hoon'd it around too much, so heck, it's probably way more fun. [:)]

Its my daily driver commuter car, so won't likely go too crazy with it, but I'll likely go with a MP215 in short order I expect. And heck a backup camera too, because that's just too handy and why Ford was too cheap even option it I have no idea. Must cost all of $20 for them to equip the car with it. But I digress as the value of this car vs anything else comparable is pretty clear. I was thinking '15 GTI before I checked out the FiST and considering I'm on the road for +10K less up here in Canada for the FiST it was a really easy call.

Anyone have a recommendation for a GTA dealer for a MP215 install (and supply maybe depending on price)?

Welcome aboard. In 4 weeks there will be a fully loaded(Figure I only turn 40 once why not all the toys) Molten orange cruising in and out of the GTA during work hours. For the MP215 check Dixie Ford, their SVT parts guy is Sean Marskell. Even the ford parts guy in Barrie said to talk to Sean directly to save the "shipping to Barrie cost". Sean quoted me the price, same as most other SVT and cheaper then non SVT dealers. But it is still expensive, North of $1600, but considering its $1299 on Mountune's is $1550 canadian, plus shipping (stupid expensive there BTW), and duty, its actually cheaper through a canadian dealer. They installed one last week and quoting 1 hour. Highly recommends the shop does it for the warranty support. All other bolt on parts non ecu related (ya I had him quote almost the entire fiesta part list.) such as CBE, RMM, or other they don't have issues being done by owner.

I got my parts as part of the finance deal. Not sure if I will let said dealer install the MP215. See what they quote as the hour(s). If they say more than 1 I will call Dixie Ford, just 20 minutes from my work so no biggy. The other parts I will do myself.

BTW what are you looking at for reverse camera?

Well its has to be factory style, so I'm thinking either be NAV-TV or Lockpick... NAV-TV is proven, Lockpick is cheaper and more functional for the price if it works...

If i remember correctly lockpick is not completely compatible since the Fiesta does not have an analog video input. Even this website does not list the Fiesta.

If you check here https://www.coastaletech.com/media/2013Videos/NEW Ford MyTouch FIM Lockpick Instructions2.pdf specific mention of the Fiesta is present. So I'm thinking the lock pick 2 ought to work. Still not pulled the trigger on it, but two + weeks into my new FiST I'm wanting the backup camera. The rear view is kinda lousy esp with my kids booster and car seat in both rear seat positions further blocking my view out the rear window. Manageable sure, but ....
