Baby got new shoes, and Eibach springs. 225/50 15. I picked these wheels up a couple months ago they are 15X7 +40 Pro Race 3 bronze. Even with the wider tire they are 11 lb's lighter per wheel than the stock set up.

These were the wheels I were looking at. I currently have the Sport 5 spokes.

They are 15x6.5 and I would love to go up to 16s with something wider. I was thinking about the Pro Race 3s in the 16 measurements they offer. Looks great man. Gives me something to judge off of now.

And any rubbing with that set up? And is close to stock diameter? And any side photos??

Those look good, I worry you wouldn't want to mount a 225 tire on a 6.5 inch wide rim. No rubbing just driving around town but I will be auto crossing on the 17th and I'm not totally confident that it won't rub under those conditions. After these tires are dead I will probably try out the Hankook 225/45 15. I bought these tires at Discount Tire after they where installed I express my concern about them rubbing the employee assured me that they won't rub but we will see. I will also try to post a side shot tomorrow.

Exactly. I didn't intend to run these in the summer but I loved the ride so much in the winter (these were my winter wheels, also) that I thought might as well keep them on and just get new summer tires. Some stockers were bald. I'm running 195/55 Comp-2s which I love. So my plan for next year is to upgrade to wider tires, maybe even 16s, so I can run 225/45 or 205/50 on 16s.

It was a costly mistake but I replaced the tires. The more I looked at it the 225 tire the more I thought it looked like a truck tire on the car so I bought Yokohama S Drives 205 50/15 I think they fit the car better.

I think either ways look great, can't really go wrong. You notice any performance or driving changes?
