I had one for my WRX, and loved the feel and weight. I want to buy one for the FiST, but don't know if the fitment works with the reverse lockout.

What other shift knobs are you guys using? Show me some pictures of shift knobs other than the Cobb/Mountune ones!

Damn you for posting this. I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER SHIFT KNOB!

Well, one more wont hurt :)
Haha! I just emailed them about fitment, so we'll see! If they say it's a go, I plan on ordering one.

Here's my only pic of my Boomba knob (Oval). Nice and hefty and comes with a shift indicator plate if you need it.

Here is the answer!

Hello Bryan-

I just checked our inventory and we would have to make either of those for the "larger bore" size on the reverse lockout on your car.

We can do it, engrave it, and ship it in 3 weeks for either one you want. We need a little more time due to the larger bore size we have to cutout under the knob. It is larger than the normal STi/FRS/etc...

Would that work for you?

These looks like very nice knobs. I really like grip tape idea. [emoji106]

You guys might also check out TWM Shift Knobs. I have an M1 Abrams I bought almost 10 years ago from them, amazing quality. They have a reverse lockout version for our FiST also and great customer support.

Fantastic! Which two did you enquirer about?
It seems all the shorty knobs work! I just placed an order for the grip tape shorty.
Chad has given awesome customer service as well! Let him know you saw my thread on here as he encouraged me to inform you guys that they can make them!

Nothing yet. He said it would be 3 weeks give or take some time due to having to custom bore it vs. their standard knobs. I'm generally a patient person, so I haven't tried to bug them yet, lol.

Maybe they made a batch, and mine is in the mail. Lol we'll see! I loved their knob in my WRX, so it's worth the wait.
