Hey everyone I've been trolling the forum for several months but I finally pulled the trigger today and ordered a Fiesta ST. Oxford White with Rado Gray wheels no other options. I'm super excited about the car. I'm coming from a 2009 MazdaSpeed 3, fully stock, I liked the Speed but I bought it used and it was beginning to develop some reliability issues so I decided to sell it. Anyways I just wanted to say hello and I will post photos when it arrives (hopefully within 3 months).

Welcome if I remember correctly you are the third member who went from owning a Speed 3 to a FiST.

Yeah I have seen other list the MS3 as their pervious vehicle. I haven't had the opportunity to drive a FiST yet but I drank the Koolaid that it's a fun fast car. I had a Subaru before the Mazda and loved it. The Speed was fast but I never just loved it.

My FiST finally arrived yesterday :) Over four months of waiting is over. I got the windows tinted today 15% all the ways around. Hopefully the cops won't give me a hard time the way I understand it living Arkansas dark tint isn't against the law. I have already ordered parts from RallySport and FSWERKS and now I'm broke.

Congrats! And I'm always broke because of this car, too many nice mods keep coming out that I have to get. What did you order?

Nothing super exciting I got the Moutune short throw kit and a weighted shift knob. I plan to install those as soon as they arrive. Then Suspension I would like to have 500-1000 miles on before that so I feel like I'm familiar with the car and I know that I don't have to take the car to the dealership immediately. My plan is to wait until about 5000 miles before I buy an access port and start doing intake exhaust maybe downpipe and intercooler. I saw an old post on a Focus forum where Moutune gave new customers a discount code I wish they would do that for us also.

Hey congrats on the new car, I also have a MS3 and am contemplating switching to a FiST. I am not the first owner and it is showing signs of abuse that was previously covered up. I am just wondering how does the St compare to the driving experience of the MS3. I really enjoy the MS3 but have heard the FiST is a blast to drive. The focus is out of the question for me as I just don't like the look of them and would rather save in the MPG department as well. Congrats on the car again and look forward to hearing any feedback

Truthfully I have been babying the FiST since It's less than a week old and I just put the first 100 miles on it yesterday but so far my opinion is it's a better car then the MS3. It does have less horsepower but being small, light and from what everyone is saying more agile . I believe it's a better driving experience. The torque steer in the Mazda was ridiculous and I was always disappointed by the handling of my Speed3 at speed it felt way to floaty even after H&R springs and koni shocks. I would say pull the trigger and be the first kid on your block to get a FiST. MS3's are a dime a dozen at this point.

Yeah I'm strongly leaning towards it, not because of not like the MS3. I think it's a great car but not being the original owner is making me worry with some of the ware signs and I think it will be cheaper in the long run owning the ST. How is the storage space compared to the Mazda? You got the exact color I would want btw...White ftw!

I hadn't even aid eye on the ST before ordering so that said I was supprised how much smaller the cabin, ie back seats and trunk space is compared to the Speed but I don't plan on putting people in the back very often so it should be fine I would be supprised if a bike would fit without taking the wheels off. My MS3 was black and I was tried of it looking dirty the day after detailing. I'm thrilled with the FiST I smile every time I look at it let alone drive it.
