Something Leaking onto IM?

So, I popped my engine cover off the other day and saw a small amount of liquid starting to pool in the cracks and crevices of the intake manifold. I didn't see any obviously loose or leaking hoses or gaskets, so I wiped the IM clean and drove a couple days. I check again today and more liquid is there.

The liquid itself smells kind of sweet, so I'm thinking maybe it's coolant. Anyone else see something like this or have any brilliant ideas on the culprit? Car has 600 miles and is bone stock.

Yeah, that's not right at all :). Definitely take it to the Dealership and have it checked and documented under warranty. How is your coolant level? If it is coolant, it looks like it may be getting misted onto the intake by a the fan.

It looks orange in the picture to me right at the edge of the intake manifold. Our cars use Motorcraft Orange coolant.

Like JPGC said, check and monitor your coolant level and have the dealer take a look. That definitely is a problem.

Good luck and let us know the outcome!

Thanks to you both. Funny/scary thing is, the engine cover would have totally hidden this, had I not taken it off.

Off to the dealer, I guess. I'll let you know what they say.
