Gel Badge Adhesive Issues

So I picked up a set of gel badge overlays from DMB before they lost their license from Ford, and i'm having a few issues with the adhesive on them. The front and rear Ford overlays are holding up quite nicely, however the center-cap overlays are having issues. I'm fairly certain that this is heat related as this is happening both on the stock adhesive and with the carpet tape that i've tried as a replacement. I've tried e6000 (issues with dry time causing wrinkles), carpet tape (heat issues), double sided tape (heat issues), and super glue (ate through the badge completely).

Does anyone have any ideas of a good heat resistant adhesive that might work for this application and would have a quick drying time? I've found a high heat contact cement, however i've had issues locating it in an amount that would be reasonable for purchase. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I little goes a long way and you can keep this stuff for ever. Not sure how it reacts to your overlay but I used it on plastic badges (damn car wash), and various around the house. I would suggest a squeegy to smooth the overlay once on to get a smooth surface as this stuff is like playdought.

Fairly cheap option, i'll check and see if anywhere local has some in stock. I do wonder about the 1 hour set time however, since it's a curved surface that's the issue i've run into with the e6000. Thanks for the suggestion!

Think of it as tacky dough. It should be able to hold the overlay down before it cures, worse case use some painters tape. Sold in most big box stores and auto stores. Once you have a tube you will use it for everything as it is the fastest and less messy glue to use. Currently holding some of my exhaust together in the Aveo.
