RS-R Series:

High performance road application.

Mountune RS-R High Performance Brake Pads have been developed to offer outstanding performance over a wide range of driving conditions. Engineered to our specifications exclusively by Hawk, the RS-R pad has been optimized with increased friction yet remaining essentially dust free. The Ferro-Carbon formula yields up to 40% greater stopping power without increased noise. This is the perfect pad compound for aggressive driving while remaining gentle on the brake rotors.

  • Quiet operation
  • Very low dust
  • Excellent performance
  • Perfect fit
  • Easy on brake rotors
  • Minimal fade under extreme temperatures
  • Ferro-Carbon compound

RS-T Series:

Track and Autocross Use.

Mountune RS-T High Performance Brake Pads have been developed to offer outstanding performance for not only severe road use but extended track applications as well. Engineered to our specifications exclusively by Hawk, the RS-T pad has been optimized with an extremely high coefficeint of friction that is fade resistant under repetitive heavy braking. The broad temperature range of this pad means that it can be used in a wide range of applications including high powered street cars looking for dramatically increased stopping power. These pads feature a smooth and consistent feel and bite and remain functional under the most extreme conditions.

This pad compound is an ideal upgrade for use in Autocross, Solo II and track day applications.
While this pad can be used for street driven vehicles, there is an increase in noise, dust, and rotor wear.

  • Excellent performance for Track and Autocross
  • Perfect fit
  • Minimal fade under extreme temperatures
  • Extremely high friction

Maybe these RS-R pads are what some of us have been waiting for. OEM level performance without all the dust.

I would really like to try these but my original pads are still 80%.

Can't wait to hear some feedback.

Yeah I guess I don't know how much OEM pads are but it just seems like a lot.
These are upgrades. Not OEM. Go out and look at OEM upgrade pads for any car and you'll see that these are cheaper and/or inline with all the prices.

Are they swappable with each other concerning the rotors?
For best performance you'll want to have your rotors turned when using a new pad material.

I saw this pop up on my FB feed (following mountune LLC). Depending on how hey actually perform, the track-oriented pads could be a option vs. CarboTech pads. I'm running XP8s that are pretty comparable in price at the MSRP level, although the mountune front bits are a little less (with discount), while the rears are very close.

I ordered these a few days ago...the RS-Rs front and rear. I should have them this week to try out.
Awesome, can't wait to hear. If they are comparable to OEM with less dust as advertised I may just get them and save my 5000 mile pads as a just in case.
