Hey guys, I have always loved build threads as they are a good way to track progress so I figure now is a good time to start mine. I picked my fiesta up almost a year ago now, and at the 9k mark, I'm about halfway to where I want to be before I pay it off. its been a bumpy ride and I'm still learning along the way, but gotta learn at some point right?

Performance mods:
Cobb RMM
DHM tune
DHM downpipe
Mishimoto J-line and silicone hoses
Injen intake(ok this was just for sound, but my charge temps are only like 5 degrees above ambient so I'm happy with it)

Suspension mods:
Eibach springs

Cosmetic and misc mods:
Boomba wing risers
Boomba sound symposer delete
yellow fog lamin-x

Future mods:
exhaust(dual exhaust anyone?)
niche m105-nr6 in gunmetal
Tint
roof vinyl gloss black
Pierce Stress bars

Now onto the pictures:

Intake installed. Thinking about trying to improve on the heatshield

Had a fender bender at 1500 miles because someone slammed their brakes turning into no traffic and I wasn't paying attention enough

After body shop repair

before springs

after springs

me and a buddy's Orange

Do you have stock foglight bulbs with the lamin-x? I wasn't sure if the lamin-x could handle the heat of the stock bulbs?

yup, its handled it so far. I did put them on pretty crapily, so I'll probably end up buying another set when I get led fogs

Let me know how it goes with the tune. I am getting the fmic and hot charge pipe from Russ and may go this route.
It definitely pulls a fair bit harder. we think I may have gotten some less than ideal gas, so it wouldn't take as much as he wanted to give it. I'm going to burn the gas out, and refill at a gas station that has better gas. He's pretty willing to keep working on it to make it the best it can be. he's super busy and I couldn't leave my car another day. very happy.

So I'm back. The tuning process has been a bit of a bitch because I'm struggling to find good gas. Russ was able to squeeze out a good bit of power out of the gas I had, but after having more negative correction than I was comfortable with, he suggested we throw 2 gallons of ethenol in the tank to see if gas was the problem... I am now going ethenol, the difference is quite impressive.

93 octane tune

2 gallons of e85, same tune

next up probably tint and roof, possibly doing the roof myself. then if I have the money to spare in a few weeks, wheels!

Unfortunately didn't get any pictures but DHM downpipe is installed. took about 3 and a half hours, an hour of which was fighting one bolt on the downpipe(the bolt up top by the block). Unfortunately my screen for my accessport has cracked rendering it unusable for a couple weeks while it gets fixed(thanks cobb!) so once I run out of this tank, I'm going to be getting tuned on e30 the old fashioned way, with a hardwire and computer lol.
