Anyone running these in the stock size? I like the reviews especially the wet traction and the price is not bad, but testers have noted they are a bit noisy. That's pretty subjective and depends on the car so looking for real world FiST experiences.

I also like the Conti extremecontact DW that I had on my Focus, they were better than the P nero zero Pirelli. The Conti comes in a 205/45 or 215/45 (which I had on 7x17" SVT wheels) which I'm sure fit, but are they worth it?

I'm putting these on 7.5x17" wheels btw.

I have them in 195/55 and love them. Great bang for the buck. I'll be getting them in 205/50 next time around.

I don't think they're noisy at all. But I also have a cobb intake and exhaust. And dhm sound delete.

I'm running stock size. 205/40/17. I think they are actually quieter than the stock tires. It may be the placebo effect, but I swear they absorb more road bumps too.

Good to know as I'm getting a set of 205/40/17 installed on Friday!

I had a set of these on my 9-3 Aero XWD, there was a bit of noise at certain speeds or road surfaces, but not unbearable. Great tires for the price.

I have a 205/45 x 16 set of Comp-2 on OZ wheels that was quieter and more comfortable on the street than OEM tires. Track them hard and they will be very noisy for a few hundred miles 'till the cupping wears in. Then fine again. I plan to try either Rivals or Direzza for tracking/street next. I want to stay with wear ratings 200 or above until I just have to be quicker.

Just drove 10 miles back from the tire shop, it's no placebo, these are more complaint over bumps than the stock tires. The steering response at slow speeds is much better too. As for noise on asphalt there is none, there is a little whine on new textured concrete, you can barely hear it with the windows up (stock exhaust and intake). So far I am happy I bought these, will report back when I get a few more miles on them.

Trying these out...just ordered in our unfortunate 205...then 45/16. Hoping for good things from these. Especially in the wet.

how are these tires in grip compared to stock. I am feeling my stock tires are not that great grip wise but I have been daily driving on star specs and rivals for years so I may just be spoiled

The level of grip between these and stock is almost incomparable. I have minimum to no wheel spin off the line. (Depends on how warm the tires are). The limit of the grip is much much higher. You'll hear them howl just before they let go, but I have to really push them hard in a corner.

I bought mine from treaddepot.com for 109 a corner with free shipping.

as good as any other max performance tire. not a hazard and not extra impressive, suppose it depends if you get rain 3 times a day and drive on crushed coral roads then I would stick with something else

They weren't on sale when I bought mine. But even then it still comes out to about the same with the shipping.

At full price of 109/tire they are damn good. I would have been happy paying 150. I love them.

Glad to hear so many like the tire. Looking forward to putting them on the new kicks. The $85.65 each is shipped though.
