So this go around I really wanted some before and afters of how the car acted but due to an error on my part I just got lovely shots of my ugly mug. So a few words and hopefully in a little while I can get some time and try again.

So how it all started:

The package arrived relatively quickly considering I was told the bars needed to be made (total time
was 10 days or so from when I placed order). Packaging was a standard box and the bar was wrapped in cellophane which is adequate for this piece.

As told on the site it fits with no modifications or need for alignment. clearance isnt bad either

Install time-45 mins. Includes letting your compressor pump up, getting the car jacked up and pissing with the 2nd bolt you install as the bar had a bit of torque on it even with the 1st bolt only a few threads engaged.

Cons-So I am really pulling at thin air here as the intall is pretty straight forward but a nice photo diagram form those that have issues even tying their shoes might help. Just a photo with the bar installed would do.

Pros-Great Communication From TB, this bar is cheap, a well made (what i think to be anyway) steel construction, very light weight, and its purple lol.

If you saw my rear bar review

http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/threads/5531-TB-perfomrance-Torsion-Bar-review

you can see I wanted added oversteer almost like a FOST...well I admit that was an error on my part. This bar shores up the front end, cures understeer and makes spirted driving almost dangerous (in a good way). Where the car would push before it now just bites and carves which is a fantasic plus considering how simple and cheap this mod is.

Imo this AND a rear bar are a MUST even if you plan on doing little to nothing to your car.

So the elephant in the room...why this over the ever popular Pierce piece. Really only cause he called it purple derp is why I got the 1st bar lol, this second was purchased from him to have matching pieces and I liked his customer service. easy peezy.

Hope this aids in people decisions.

Definitely! Both the 2 point front and the rear torsion work excellent on the street and the track!

Thanks guys. Brand new FiST owner here, traded a 13 Volvo C30 w/ Polestar upgrade on this little ruffian and I couldn't be happier. Now, where to start on a limited budget and trying to make a daily driver even better. I think I know where to go.....

I've enjoyed some fairly spirited mountain road driving with this and the rear torsion bar. Just ordered the trunk brace a few minutes ago, hopefully it gets here in time for my next business trip to the mountains.

For me, the Holy Trinity of FiST Bracing is the Front Bar, Rear Torsion, and Trunk Brace. Simply perfect.

Okay, so I ordered the torsion bar and the traction bar from TB, they arrived promptly and in good order. Took it to my local shop who I trust, and the dude just had a big smile on his face, he knew what I had. Needless to say, the steering first of all is noticeably tighter, and the car overall just feels more planted. We have some pretty crappy pot-holed and rutted road up, so this thing can get kind of squirrelly at times. So far, so good, I like the difference, for 200 bucks you can't go wrong. And Danny didn't even charge me for shipping to the 907, you can't beat that !
