Has anyone gotten the Scotchgard Protection film applied to their FiST yet?

Which parts of the car and prices?

I have awhile till my car comes but wanted to see what other people decided on.

From what I've read about other vehicles it can be upwards of $700, for front bumper, hood, mirrors, and pillars...

Cheers

You are in the price range. I've had 2 quotes and they ranged from $750 to low 8's (Calgary prices).
My plan is to get the front bumper and the entire hood done plus I want them to put about a 4" band on the roof just at the top of the windshield.
Just about all my vehicles have picked up stone chips just above the top of the windshield.
Check around and get a reputable shop. It's worth it to pay a bit more and have a good job done.

Yes it can get on upwards of $700 depending on what you wanted to do. The important areas for me were the hood, front bumper and mirrors. Anything extra coverage is great if you have the funds to do it.

Here's my clear film thread.

I elected not to do the mirrors as a buddy of mine had them done on 2 cars and there were always issues getting the stuff to stick properly due to the multiple compound curves on such a small surface.

Might be the cold weather up there. I have no issues with the film adhering to the mirrors. Then again my installer guarantees his work for 3 years so there's some peace of mind lol.

The 3M went on yesterday and now I can drive it. In addition to having the bumper and entire hood done I had them also cover the windshield pillars and the front of the roof. They did right up to about the sunroof opening.
On my other cars I've had stone chips on the roof and wanted to try and eliminate that problem. It was suggested by a buddy of mine. Figured it was worth a try.

Its much more peace of mind knowing that you have some front protection. Good idea with doing the moonroof opening.
