Palm Beach Inter Raceway Sat, new personal best lap time in dry by 3 seconds, Quaife comes through. My first instructor, Nick Bernardo, ran a lap 3 sec faster than mine, but now I have his lap on Harry's to work from.

Rain in afternoon, first in line I had the whole field of intermediate drivers behind me when rain session began, cleared rearview in one lap and only a 4WD 911 caught me after 20 min.

Car is a beast in the wet. With nannies all off, Quaife tames TC enough to really drive in rain. Throttle control drifting through turns is so much fun. Best lap time 10 sec slower than in dry, but getting a point by from the same C6 I could not touch in the dry made up for it.

What times are you running? What was the HPDE group that you ran with? PBIR is my closest track so I selfishly want to know your set up [like]

1:46 best dry, Nick ran 1:43. 1:57 best wet. Hooked on Driving offered a Sebring/PBIR package deal, too hot this time of year but I wanted to try LSD while prior trackdays were still fresh in my mind.

Over heating is a problem, two hard laps and somewhere around 255 oil and 235 water the red light comes on and its time for a cool lap. Blew hotside IC hose off at Sebring under similar heat.

Cobb S3, BFG S Comps, stock suspension and brakes. Was trying to get a Panda tune but after 4 months and less hp on E30 than using 93 and Cobb S3, I gave up, flashed back to Cobb.

I suspect I pointed you by last time we were at PBIR together, turned the nannies off yet? Lol. I recall you had some good stuff in your car, and actually have no idea if you were running ESC.

Nice times, Siestarider [twothumb] I've only had my FiST at PBIR once and I don't remember any other FiSTs there, so not sure if I'm the one you're thinking of. I hit 231F water temp when I was there as well, so waiting on Mishimoto's oil cooler and possibly radiator as well. Thanks for the brake temp testing. When I run next I'll be on the Wilwoods with Carbotech XP-10s and Motul 600. Hopefully that will be sufficient, though I don't have a LSD so even with the nannies off the front brakes will still be working to smooth out my bad driving.
