First off, let me preface this by apologizing if this is a redundant post (as im sure this question has been asked a million times), but i havent had the time to look into this (new job=no time). A little background on my car- its a black, fully loaded 2014. I recently installed a full cobb stage 3 and cyborg turbo upgrade. When i got it back it homestly didnt feel much different than stock (and if anything, i did feel a noticeable difference in lag in regards to cyborg turbo vs stock turbo). One thing i havent gotten is a dyno tune ( im sure ots map stage 3 doesnt account for the cyborg...obviously). So i have to get it all tuned and dialed in...will it make THAT much of a difference? But my real question is...is there anything else i can install for more power. Now, before you guys anyswer that, since i have the full stage 3 from cobb, im not looking to swap parts, i.e, i if theres an IC that offers more power than the cobb IC, an intake that offers more power than the cobb one ( i know the 2jr intake offers more power), thats not what im looking to do. Im looking for things to replace stock parts. I also have a new internal wastegate. Sorry if this post is long or unclear (trying my best). Any thoughts? Id like to minimalize lag as much as possible and would really like more low-end responsiveness overall. And if there are helpful threads, a link would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks to everyone that reads or chimes in!

Cobbs stage 3 tune is ment for a stock turbo. You need a PRO tune. Get ahold of Adam at maperformance he is the best period. He will tune the hell out that thing! Trust me..it will be a HUGE difference.

Thats what i figured. I know i still need to get tuned to account for the cyborg. But is there anything else i can upgrade to from stock?

You mentioned the waste gate, did you upgrade the bov as well? If you don't have light weight wheels that may help as well.

You could also go big turbo, but you mentioned eliminating to lag, not increasing it.

I did not upgrade the bov as the whistle would annoy the hell out of me really fast. And yea, i was thinking bigger turbo but i feel like waiting for the power to come on would be annoying as well which is why i decided to go cyborg instead of something like a lower-end atp turbo.

I'm confused. You got a new turbo but didn't get it tuned and you're wondering why it feels the same? If you got tires but put them in the trunk would expect any benefit?

I wasn't referring to boomba adapter, but the turbosmart bov that actually gives some semblance of a performance upgrade.

Oh, then no, i didnt even see that one. But i did get my actuator from cj. Seemed a bit unnecessary now that i think about it as my psi wont go high enough anyway to need the extra spring pressure. Fogured id toss it in anyway though. You think i should get the cj bov then?

Not necessarily, just trying to provide some options since that's what you were asking. I've heard it prevents boost leak and doesn't vent every time you lift off the throttle a hair, but I don't have it my self so I couldn't honestly recommend it one way or the other.

I'm assuming that with the Cobb Stage 3 that you've hit all the required bolt on items for max power. Having said that what fuel is available in your area? 91? 93? E85? If E85 is in your area I'd strongly recommend that you seek Adam at MaPerformance and get his E30/E40 tune. I too have the cyborg and his tune and it makes a big difference...

Just 91, but theres a tually a chevron down the street that has e85 but i everything ive been able to read says it but hers mpg. Idk if im bold enough to mess with the fuel system.

You don't have to mess with the fuel system at all. You fill the tank half way with 93, you fill it up the rest of the way with e85. Get it tuned properly on e40 then see if you still need more power. Kind of silly to ask about more power when you don't even have it tuned yet.

Idk why thats an issue for people. The tune is not what im even asking about. Yes, i know the tune will dial it in. Thats beside the point.

How is it beside the point? You haven't even felt the power of your upgraded turbo yet.

Soon there will be an aux fueling kit (5th injector) for us, which will need to be tuned. There are uprated cams, which will need tuning. There are two parts for you to add horsepower... Yet, you don't even have your turbo tuned. WTFM8?
