Is that a direct fit to the U.S. nose? As I recall there is a difference between the U.S. and the UK/EU version.

I thought TRC only made one version that fits both US and UK?

I know there have been a few members here that purchased thier TRC splitter directly from TRC UK and didn't seem to have any issues?

Probably be a good idea for anyone that is interested in TRC's latest / new splitter version to contact them via email and ask directly before purchasing....

Yeah, I recall that too. However, I thought there were some bumper cover or something adjustments under there to get that original splitter to work.

The reason I figured that there was a difference between the bumpers was that mountune identified the differences (slight though they may be) with their cosmetic bits for the Fiesta ST bumper covers.

This one was designed for the North American bumper (says so in the description):

This one only worked for the UK/ROW bumper (per a Ken Anderson or Randy Robles comment in a thread somewhere):

Seems like other vendors would bump into the same issues. Doesn't mean it could not be MADE to fit, but just that there might be some customization (kind of one reason I held off on the original TR product).

Yes exactly...This is because Mountune's Splitter (in particular) uses a vertical rod that mounts directly to the USDM bumper to support their front splitter...The EU FiSTs use a different bumper design and require a slightly different splitter mount design....

And Mountune's front lower "spoiler" was a much different issue than what the lower splitter is...In this instance Mountune's "spoiler" cover (shown below) does not fit US models...something about the slots on the spoiler cover not matching up ????

Triple R Composites Splitter as well as most other Splitters currently available (with the exception of Mountunes Splitter) do not require mounting directly to the crash beam....

It was designed for Euro-spec. I think it's not 100% fit for our US-spec.bumper
Just a few minutes ago I finished installing a second.
It fits 100% perfectly.

No trimming for the underside or bumper? Just drilling then put on ?
Yes, that's about it.

This last one I just put on, I found out that they drilled two holes differently but that is no problem.

I came up with an easer way to install it that requires NO cutting or trimming of anything.
Remove the two outboard bottom 7mm screws that hold the black fender trim on.
Tuck the trim piece just above the bumper cover instead of on the bottom and reinstall the screw.
Then you need to drill holes into the bumper cover through the 6 main mounting holes (3 on each side) already provided on the splitter.
Next use plastic expanding nut inserts (like used for license plates) with the correct style screws and fender washers.

If into a "splitter" for looks more than performance either one the or anybody else makes will work. If into a splitter that can be converted into a half or full under tray for a much bigger gain in down force the original one is best.

Because no one is allowed to buy a fun hot hatch for any reason but race car apparently. Lol

Seriously everything does not need to be about performance.

Personally I'm tired of my old school triple R splitter. I may look into this one or the fifteen 52 splitter very soon.

Assuming this fits US models I'm definitely gonna have to buy this and the trc skirts..

Got it in yesterday, so took a bit to come from the UK. Got it put on today basically jacked the car up, put on jack stands, took the 7mm body panel bolts out that join the front valance and bumper. Used masking tape to hole the splitter in place. Then drilled new holes for the splitter and used those bolts/nust in lieu of the OEM bolts.
The center bolt of the splitter wasnt bad to get in once I took the lower bumper grill off (it pulls off with a yank) the holes to the immediate right and left of the center nut hole were no go though. I have a bigger FMIC which is in the way so I simply drilled new holes in the splitter at the next ok to reach points and viola' splitter is on.


-Fit is a 9/10 even though its for the euro spec car it fits well with the pieces towards the fender well being a bit short. I also cant tell if its me or the splitter but it may need to be spaced a bit for more of a neutral angle. when the few inches of snow melts off I will pull the car outside and see whats up
-comes with hardware but they are what seem to be stainless allen bolts
-Finish is 10/10

for being fiberglass its one of the if not the best fiberglass part I have ever installed
