Not so steering off center problem?

Pardon my title being a nonsense. I actually couldn't really have a way to put it unless I describe it. English isn't my primary language so indo face some difficulties especially with car parts and names and such.

Anyway my question is the section between the steering and speedo dash. Where turn signal and wiper controls are attached. Is it normal to see that the turn signal on the left is higher vs the windshield wiper on the right? It just seems the console is rotated slightly clockwise making left go higher vs right. It's enough to drive me bonkers when I look down at my speed.... any thoughts?

It might be a purely ergonomics situation where you can see or touch being different on each side of the column.

Out of all the cars I have worked on which is a huge list, the column cannot be rotated without fabrication work so likely it was made that way on purpose.

-----------

To help you out I went out and looked at my 2014 and they are the opposite of yours!

That is really odd to say the least as these parts are welded up on a jig and one would have to be very stupid to get them that far out of alignment before welding on the mounting bracket to the steering column.

Perhaps they have a different mount design than the dozens of other cars I have worked on over the years and it can be bolted up with it being off center........

Let's see what others post up here, interesting situation!

I don't mean to add to the confusion but after reading this yesterday, I took a good hard look at the column on my '14 this morning and both my signal and wiper stalks are at the same height. I assume this is why I first read your post it surprised me, because I am sure I would have noticed if they were offset. If I remember I will try to get a picture later. Now I am confused as to how there is so much variation from car to car. [dunno]
