So I have been contemplating making one of these for a minute now. Usually they are a waste of time as I either forget to update them, no one says shit or both. I figure I have had my car for almost 2 years now so I have enough material I can post for a bit. Just an FYI I curse in my posts a smidge, I tend to have little patience on the web, when I have time I like to argue and I am afflicted with reading only half of stuff people post at times (Iam working on fixing that last one) so there are my negatives ha!

About me I have had low-riders (93 Grand am on hydraulics back in 97), cars I drag raced (Built neon on nitrous), cars I auto crossed (same neon but with suspension), cars I just pretended they were rally cars (1982 datsun something) and modified scooters. For the better part of 13 years I have been into drifting (GASP!!) (Several 240's, a mustang and now an RX7) . Some people talk mad shit about drifting but in the end its super fun and I am usually a better driver than them at "real" driving lol. I am "into" cars for the fun in the end so thats what counts

So how does my lovely Fiesta fit into this? Well it doesn't, really. I won the car through Octane Academy back in late 2013 (Yeah I am a lucky/blessed jerk)

I was looking for Mustang drift parts stumbled on a drift car and one thing led to another ran I applied to win the car...winning things never happen right? Well apparently people do actually win cars.

and of course I was going to sell it as I had an ok daily (20000 ranger) and a fun summer time car(that mustang I spoke of) . After seeing all the reviews of the fiesta I decided to try it for just a bit. I fell in love with it and to this day still love it, just as a man loves his girl friend he only sees on the weekends and limited week nights.

So a day after i got the car I borrowed a parking lot (I run the drifting events in South Dakota so the lot was a call away) and set up an autox course

At this point I felt super lucky to have won such a great car. I wasn't gonna touch it. Fast forward 2 weeks I bought a sweet BOV spacer. After that I left it alone for 6 months... what I did next need to wait til my next post.

So the crap I have owned

My scooter I tore apart and sold to fund some fiesta parts. I had this til a month ago. Got pissed at how finicky it was and boom tore it apart and away it went.

2009 ruckus bored and stroked 190cc it was fun went faster than it should have i did the lace paint and pretty much everything else too

The 240 I had for 8 years-i loved this car shoulda kept it. My pissyness got the best of me

The mustang I sold after I got the fiesta. This car was great had a few mods but in the end the Mustang guys weren't something I could stand and I needed a less expensive car to thrash.

The current car --AKA THE WIFE

Ls swapped FC rx7 with all the ricer trimmings. It needs more power and this is why my fiesta only gets a small part here or there

Dang congrats on winning a car that's insane, I'm truly happy for you. I look forward to reading more about your build and finding inspiration for my new ST.

Nice RX-7 btw. And the 20000 Ranger - let me know when I can use your time machine, I'd like to bring one of those back too.

I love that you refer to it as a 'side chick', perfect hahaha
Lol my own weird humor. Like I was saying no real goals for the Fiesta. I know I want a turbo upgrade and some wider tires but I need to keep it civil. My RX7 is already terriable at anything but being a race car and my ranger is gettin on in years so thE FIESTA has to stay civil. So my mods must have reliabilty and user friendiness in mind.

Id love to go all out with wide fenders and this and that but right now not an option.

Thanks. The ranger Has seen 150k of very rough miles, time travel is not her forte :)

So this is a build thread my first mod was an injen intake. I went with ingen as it was the lowest price and I liked the wrinkle coat. So wasnt really chosen based on performance. This intake coupled with the bov spacer makes my car sound like a giddy dolphin at higher boost pressures...probably compressor surge lol. That new turbo maybe sooner than I anticipate.

Everyone knows what the intake looks like but who doesnt like pictures?

Im gonna jump around on mods. This is a relatively recent one, the new version of the triple R splitter. Its a bit short because the Euro spec bumper is apparently stubbier but overall this thing fits awesome. One of the best fiberglass pieces I have seen to date (and I have see alot). install took maybe an hour cause I was messing around but an easy install
