Hey guys,

I've been running a Cobb OTS St1 tune with my drop in filter and MBRP 3 inch catback. A 3 inch Depo racing catless down pipe is showing up later this week and I was wondering if its okay to install and still run the Cobb OTS St1 tune? I cannot do custom tuning with a vendor at this time because of the weather conditions (snow) the roads are impossible to datalog on for a few months still .

Any advice welcome, Thanks!

Get a better intercooler.. That should have been your second mod after your apv3

That doesn't answer my question at all. Canadian dollar dropped down to .69 today, so I highly doubt paying $1500 for an intercooler is a valid option. This car is also only a DD for when I'm not driving the Lightning so it will be a while before I mod it to actually be fast.

yes. you'll most likely get a check engine light though with the catless DP. STG 3 OTS map eliminates the light from appearing.

Check engine light is okay, But the tune (stg 1) won't blow shit up is basically what I'm asking.

nope. ECU is smart with it's safety parameters still in place with the STG maps and will go through great lengths to save itself from doing harm.

Thanks, Im not used to turbo cars and 4cyl motors. My Lightning is tuned so aggressively that changing out an exhaust part, or anything really, requires a re-tune.

technically you should get a re-tune, but it will run without one other than the check engine light until you are ready.
