Hi Guys, please help. Ford had to replace my ECU and now cant reprogram my keys to match the new ECU. They have had my car for 6 weeks now!! Any ideas?

On a side note, they have a Focus ST with which they are having the same issue. They seem to be able to reprogram keys on any model Ford, bar the ST models.

It throws out an error in line of 'Immobiliser malfunction, service immediately". Their IDS software is up to date.

I'd be asking for a ford Mustang 350gtr for my rental for the compensation of being without my FiST claiming they are taking away from my ability to enjoy myself while driving.[driving]

I had an issue where I was sold the car with only 1 key. what a headache that was to get another key program. Same immobilizer code (3 visits to turd dealer). good luck I hope the tech's are competent enough to resolve your issue in a timely matter unlike myself.

I've had the exact same problem after Pumaspeed bricked my ECU and had to replace mine. The dealership software can't do it. The dealership ended up calling an engineer from Ford China HQ who brought his own computer equipments to connect with the car and program the key. It was entirely system different from the IDS system that the dealership had.
