I'm looking to buy the exhaust and down pipe soon & after looking at different companies my decision is leaning towards
MBRP Cat-Back Exhaust System XP Series 3" with the ATP 3" downpipe for the 16 ST. Does anyone have this setup?
Louder the better for me, got some neighbors to tend with. Send me some input, advice, or encouragement Thanks

Outside going custom, the combo you mentioned is going to be your loudest 'tuned' exhaust sound. You could always just delete the Res and Muf on the cheap, install the downpipe and call it a day. The stock pipes flow very well until you step into big-turbo territory.

straight pipes is the loudest. There is a video on youtube with a car from florida with straight pipes. It sounds good

I forgot to post my YT finds!

I've always been a big fan of how a car sounds stock. I'm not a fan of overly tuned sound in my car. The Fiesta ST stock exhaust is perfect. It's sure as shit doesn't sound like any other 4 out there. It doesn't whine or try to be something else. I've had multiple comments from car enthusiates that comment on the sound in car. They ask if I have added an exhaust. "No, just a panel filter and a tune".

Res Delete and downpipe.

Res/Muf delete and stock DP.

Actually, I like that idea. Sounds awesome still (just watched a vid) doing the muff delete should I just cut it and leave the shortage or bring it back out to the bumper with pipe and exhaust tip?

the loudest you will get is the MRT cat back with a catless downpipe. The MRT is a 2.5" stainless and no muffler or resonator at all. then obviously a cat less DP will give you a straight noise maker.

and for even more noise get an external waste gate. hehehe

A downpipe without a cat is going to need a tune or else you will get a check engine light.

Make sure you add $500 to the budget for an Accessport.

I think the loudest combo would be CP-E 3" DP with our true 3" Nexus Catback with resonator delete. Full 3" path straight out the back with NO noise cancelation. Catless DP comes with defouler for no CEL.

^CPE is a good choice if he wants to take out a second mortgage on his house to buy the parts...
Yea I just looked at the prices... [unsurelaugh] my mouth was literally open. 800$ exhaust, $500+ dp and they will even install them for 220 each.... $1700+ to buy a dp and exhaust and get them installed

No, no, you've got it all wrong.

They'll charge you $800 for the catback exhaust... but then also charge you $250 for a resonator delete (which is just a pipe with a flange welded on one end and two hangers welded on... then charge you $500 for a catless downpipe...

No wonder hardly anyone on these forums has their parts on their cars...

Our catback is very unique, 304ss CNC mandrel bent and is made and tig welded right here, 15 miles outside of our nations capital.

There are many people running our parts including some of the fastest cars on here, as well as the fastest Focus' and the fastest ecoboost powered car in the world.

And I always give discounts on Parts +install packages.

AND it spits fire!
