I bought a 2014 debadged completely except for Ford badge front and back and ST front grill badge. I like it looks clean from the back on the Molten Orange. Question is what has been done to the rear tail lights?

Someone put "red out" tint on the tails. It should be just a vinyl layer like any tint and should be removable.

It's hard to tell from this photo whether it is the red-out tint, or whether it is a light tint like headlight armor sells. It looks great!

Yeah i will gey some more up. it is really a nice look. Its not nightshade or whatever that crap is. And whatever it is the application was done on the inside for sure. Unless they are actual full replacements. The tails with only the Ford badge on the rear looks sic on the Molten Orange

This is still what it looks like to me.

If it was on the inside the edge of the tail light where the plastics meet wouldn't be so dark. The install is good for sure. However it's not worth the trouble of opening up a taillight to do a red out for most people.

Did the night shades spray on my tail lights of my Typhoon....they look great....I just taped them off....sprayed a couple of coats and wham....red tail lights. I get asked where I got the lights. I just say they are knock off clear altezzas and that I sprayed them.

I am sure that if you removed the light assembly from the car you would see if it was vinyl or paint.

Or just open the hatch right? I think you'd be able see it on the seam where the lense meets the black plastic body.

Opened hatch no seam, Guess they were cracked opened and done...
I am not saying that it is impossible however, it is very difficult to open these lights without seeing some evidence of them being opened.
Never the less they do look unique and I think they look very good.
