Not into red but if you like them cool:)
If you want a rally look and a better ride look for 16 or 15" wheels and usually save money on wheels and tires;)

Yea but with a red car what color rims fit? I'd like white but the brake dust is rly bad so that rly only leave black or red. With stock ride height do 15's or 16's look bad?

My honest opinion.. Ugly and tacky. Matching color wheels are a no no unless black or white cars.

For a red fiST I think white or silver/aluminum color wheel would look good. I prefer a clean look

Yea I said above I'd prefer white rims but the brake dust is rly bad.. I haven't seen anyone have white rims on the fist, I think that's why. Do you think with thinner then stock spokes the brake dust won't be as bad?

Brake dust is what it is. I have regular silver colored wheels on my car and brake dust builds up. I usually just clean them off once a week when I wash the car and don't worry about it

Maybe black rims with red accents? The brake dust is pretty bad, I just try to clean my wheels frequently.

I think I read an article about colored tires, maybe you could go red on red on red. [biggrin]

Lol nah that's way to gay.. Yea I thought maybe the black tank and black mud flaps would offset all red but I guess it wouldn't. What do u guys think of red mudflats and white rims on the red fist?

I like black rims. And I'm not a fan of mud flaps. My car doesn't off road

i like gold on red too. Problem with color matching is the exact colors tend not to match, and to my eye it "looks off".

But it's your car, and those wheels are excellent quality for the price.

+1 on 15 or 16 having more of a rally look than 17 (and lighter, cheaper, etc)

I feel you, I do get a lot of dirt and dirty water tho sprayed over my lower front doors
I get water and dirt on there too. But I only drive my car about 50-100 miles a week so I'm not too worried about the area behind the wheels. Plus I just don't like the look of mud flaps. But to each their own. I like sparco rims and those would probably look pretty good on the car. I was going to get a fiesta with the regular rims and then get some black sparcos but I found a fist with stock black rims.

16x7 on stock suspension is a great fit for this car. Below is my winter setup, on barely $100 ea. Sparcos with 205/50's. You can see the snow stuck in* the tread on the rear of the car to give you a good idea of "gap fill".

Tread width is 6.7 and over all height is 24.1 so it is a taller tire than stock
