Ap lose power? Switch tune?

Do you have to periodically charge your accessport with the usb chord? My ap wasn't switching on so I charged it and now my car is only hitting 22psi whereas before it was hitting 24.5 and now it's only hitting 240tq whereas it was hitting 290. I checked where it says current tune and it says "re flash stage 3 tune" could it have somehow gone back to stock? What's going on?

I need a few answers from you, first.

Did your AP screen go black while it was plugged in and the car was on? Is there a difference in the weather between when you saw 24.5 and 22psi?

No to both, I turned the car on but the ap didn't come on. I Was driving around just fine after I saw 24.5 Then I parked came back out and that, then it started to say low battery. I charged it indoors for a bit. Came back out re flashed and it's driving with the power it had before it died. So weird... So if the battery dies while plugged into you osb and driving around (not mid flash) it just reverts back to stock?

Ok... So first thing. I didn't know the AP charged. That's news to me.

Second thing is, your boost may fluctuate like that. Is it on a Cobb OTS map?

it felt like it flashed back though. There was a definete loss of power. Iv driven in hot weather but still seen 24psi and consistent 280tq readings but tonight the highest I saw was 250 and 22.7 before I reflashed

It's been a while since I was on a Cobb tune, but boost will fluctuate especially if you're still on the stock intercooler. As it gets hotter, it can make the boost. Or it could have been that it was nice and cool and you spiked momentarily.

But, I wasn't aware of the AP charging, so I'm doubting everything I know right now. I can't help you.

Im stage 3 full bult on. Wait so you have to disconnect the ap it doesn't turn off after you turn off your car. Iv always left it plugged in... Maybe it's been on while my car is off and that's why it was saying the charge thing

It definetly went back for so,e reason. There was huge dif in power I'm full bolt on, when I floor it I always see 24+ psi and 280+ no matter how hot. It wasn't a spike it's what I always see

You may have had the auto off switched off so it would drain the battery, doesn't explain the less boost, I know I only build 24psi when in 3rd and I don't spin

yea I mean every time I drive somewhere I end up having 24+ saved as my high boost number for that drive. So there is an option on the ap to have it switch off when the car is off ?? How do I select that?

yeah mine usually turns off when i turn the car off. sometimes it doesn't but i never turn it off manually, and it has never "died". Are you sure it wasn't telling you your car battery was low voltage?

No but maybe It was wen my car wasn't on and it was just basically saying plug in.. So il be leaving it plugged in ? It will turn off wen my car does? Sometimes it doesn't automatically turn on when my car does though

Bud, the accessport has the ability to pull electricity through the obdii while the car is off, it doesn't charge, it just remains on, notice how you can't turn the ap on when nothing is plugged in? Now- you need to turn the auto off- in the main setting on the AP- so it doesn't draw electricity from the battery while the car is not on- charging the battery-
The low voltage is reporting the battery of the car is getting to a low level. I've been working on my car and using it for the radio, the AP showed a code, the car also showed a code for low voltage, and when I tried to start it, it was hard for it, either find the auto off or disconnect it.

I think when you reflashed- probably had it set to another map, some how, some way you probably did or the AP glitches like you said. But there is no battery

You need to update your AP. One of the somewhat recent firmware updates fixed some issues with the AP not turning on/off when the car did.
