I don't work for Mountune and I'm not a vendor, but I did receive an email from them just now with a 20% off sale promotion for the FiST cat-back exhaust. It's only valid until Feb. 14th so if you're interested better buy it quick. The coupon code is: fist210.

The normal price is $739. http://www.mountuneusa.com/mountune-High-Flow-Exhaust-Fiesta-ST-p/2364-cbe-ab.htm So, the sale price is about $591 [twothumb]

PS, I do have a Mountune cat-back and quite like the sound!

If you're on the fence, jump over! I hate when I buy something and a huge sale comes a week or two later. But, hopefully some of you can take advantage and keep Mountune in the business of making parts for the FiST!

I'm on the fence cause' I have not found a good interior sound this exhaust makes and if there's any drone at speed.

There is a small amount of drone around 2800rpm-3500rpm, but it's really not that noticeable. Further, it depends on how much throttle you're giving it. Everyone's threshold is different, but it's far less drone than any other 4 cylinder car with aftermarket exhaust I've driven.

Thanks Chuck, I am still running my 3" MBRP with 3" Vibrant resonator and muffler, have tried every trick I can find but still just too loud for me on street. And resonates badly enough at 3-4K its annoying at fast cruise. Just ordered the Mountune, will keep in in box until Cyborg is mounted and tuned, then see if I loose anything with Mountune exhaust. From what I have learned swapping stock exhaust back and forth with MBRP and logging, I doubt I loose anything even with Cyborg.

I am a classic lesson in cost of modifying a cheap big exhaust. $1K total invested in sequential mods over a year to quiet it down enough for adequate stealth, now nothing left of MBRP except some tube in middle, no joy. My conclusion is a properly designed Helmholtz resonator is required for my taste.

Yes, unfortunately sometimes well-intentioned mods end up costing more than having gone an altogether different route to begin with. Ask me how I know [facepalm]

I'd be interested to learn if any power is lost with the Mountune 2.5" versus the MBRP 3".

Randy just emailed me, I ordered the 3 door exhaust by mistake, did not even notice. Good catch Mountune, and great service Randy Robles.

Yeah, I am buried in data, when I put the Mountune exhaust on I will post data comparison to existing 3" custom. Be a few months, need Cyborg on and tuned, plus scheduled track days, now that my ears are tuned to shift points I do not want to change it out before summer.

Not fair to call it an MBRP, with only some pipe left from that system. I have actually grown fond of the single tip, except for size it looks so ordinary.
