With its eye-catching price tag and blistering performance, the Focus RS is a fast Ford in the finest tradition. Yet it’s the car’s trick four-wheel-drive system and honed suspension that star, giving the Focus incredible agility and delivering more than enough driver involvement. It also looks and sounds the part. The only black marks are reserved for the small boot and firm low-speed ride.

That's awesome for Ford it really is but at least in Canada their pricing doesn't make any sense.

Not including tax or destination:

Focus RS - $47000
VW R - $40000
Audi S3 - $45400
Subaru STI - $38000
I could go on!

You really have to be a huge Ford supporter to put your money in the RS .... Otherwise it makes no sense!

I'm jealous of the engine bay in the audi. Pretty red valve cover, no giant plastic cover...good stuff

Car and Driver recently reviewed the FoRS, and their article didn't come across to me that they were as impressed as some European reviews that I have seen lately.
