I have already made a post in introductions but I wanted to come here to post my automotive history. I have owned A LOT of cars. Probably more than most people here. I would say it's over 15 since I turned 15. I'm currently 26. Over the years I have modified and restored cars of all makes, models and types. There is variety, with everything from mini trucks to convertibles to station wagons. While I was in school I would buy a car, repair and modify in my spare time then sell it when I was done. My friends said I had "car A.D.D." That is/was probably the case. Here's a collage of the various cars I've owned:

After that, I owned a few more. The most note worthy was my '99 Miata. I loved it. I had put Flyin Miata coilovers on, Konig wheels and a hardtop. It was the most fun I've ever had in a car. But alas, as being my only car, it sucked.

So, I opted to sell it and get something bigger and more familiar. I love Toyotas and bought a 1997 Toyota Rav4 all wheel drive model and made it my own as well.

Then, with some time, good fortune and job promotions I decided I was tired of having to work on older vehicles. I wanted something new. As I get older, I wanted something with 4 doors for practicality, but something that handled well and had decent power. I had also never owned a turbo vehicle and was really itching for the boost bug. I was also considering the Scion iM, as well as a few others; But lets be honest, those cars were BORING. I did lots of research and after much debate and a down payment from selling the Rav4, I was able to get my '16 Fiesta ST. This is my first BRAND NEW car and my first American vehicle as well. I am loving it so far. As lame as it sounds, this is the fastest car I've owned. It's not much compared to others but it's a start.

Will be replacing a Protege 5 with my Fist when it arrives later this spring. Have always liked the good handling of the car but it is getting "long in the tooth" and will go on to bigger and better things for someone else. Glad I don't have a wondering income or I would go through vehicles like you do...

I've also owned several imports, and am happy that the FiST is a US nameplate... even if it was designed in Europe and built in Mexico. [rolleyes]

I think I'm a little older than you, but since I've had 26 cars in my 30 years of driving, I think I might have this addiction, er, affliction you call 'car ADD' ;)

Funny thing though, I don't have the itch to get something else right now - I'm really happy with the FiST, and with plans for new wheels, an exhaust, and a short shift kit, I'm gonna keep this little one for a while! I usually get the itch after we hit the Philly Car Show, but this year I was like 'eh, nothing else is cooler than my Fiesta'. Except for the Kona Blue with black rims FiST they had there, that's a color I could switch for!

I've had all makes of cars, mostly small sporty hatchbacks, but this one is by far in my Top5, if not #1 favorite!

Welcome aboard!

I too suffer from this affliction known as car A.D.D. But having owned my FiST for exactly one year, there is nothing I would buy or could buy (under 35k) that gives so much driving satisfaction. The little rally rocket still makes me smile just looking at it, and every day, simply driving it makes me happy.
