I thought about the Ecoboost Mustang for a second, but I couldn't see myself in a Mustang. The only Ecoboost Ford I would trade my Fiesta for is the Focus RS, but that car is too expensive for me.

So no, I would not trade it in.

Well.....I have a deposit down on an RS. So I would trade it in for that. However, when I placed the order for it in Oct., I was $2000 upside down, since the dealer was offering me $17,000 for it. I have a feeling it may arrive around June, so I will take it to Carmax and try out a car selling service called Beepi. Im trying to be a little financially responsible and may very well not go thru with the purchase if I am offered less than I owe. Which I wont mind at all, cuz I really like the size/ shape of the Fiesta. I would probably add some more mods once the warranty expires. We shall see.

I would be somewhat negative if I do the trade in. Just miss the rwd and love the looks of the s550 and there aftermarket support is endless. Or I can keep the fist and get me a 01 Bullitt and sc that. Umm desicions lol

Would you trade your fist in for an 2016 ecoboost?

I always trade in all my new cars...

But I wouldn't consider trading my 14' FiST for a new ecoboost Mustang as its too damn heavy, large, and not as nimble...I am eager to see what the new 2017 "next-gen" ecoboost FiST will bring to the table...That said I've also been considering a 2017 FoRS and waiting to hear owner feedback as to how its first year launch goes...

I know one way or another it'll be another ecoboost engine since I've gotten very comfortable with the ecoboost tuning platform and appreciate the design and flexibility it offers...Just not a Mustang...

For an Ecoboost Mustang? Doubtful - if I were to get a Mustang, it's going to have that 5.0 under the hood. but I love my FiST, and will not trade off the handling for power.

Hopefully ford still has 2k offer assist next February too
Whats this offer assist you speak of??? That would be nice or maybe I will get a better price at somewhere like Carmax. Who knows.....btw.... My parents live outside Philly. Did a road trip in the FIST there last summer. Straight thru both ways. About 19hours....crazy!!

Go on ford website . I think today is the last day . It's either 2k incentives off a ford car or 2k trade assist . They didn't offer that back in sept 2014 . They gave 1,750 towards the fist but not the 2k trade asisit . Yea man it's no joke . I drove to FL couple of times from philly to Florida .

I've thought about the twins, but can't get over the power curve bog down, mustang ecoboost is to big, nothing really flips my trigger to go back to rwd right now...

Like others have said, the first-year depreciation has killed any chance of trade-in for me for at least a few years. The good news is that, according to Edmunds True Cost Calculator, it levels off a bit after the first few years and I should be able to get ahead of it.

That being said, my plan is to trade it in for a new WRX in a few years. The FiST is a great car, but I can't see it being practical for me or my family in a few years.

That's good to hear as I'm at 12,700 miles and will be going up and up till next feb. it's worth 18k now hopefully it only drops to 16k when I trade her in. Do want a wrx but a 11-14 . If I can't find the price and mileage for one I will get a FosT .
